Twelve days is not enough time to do all that you want to do and see everyone you want to see when visiting home. In my short visit home, I was always doing something - there was never a boring moment.. (Excluding the weird 24-hour stomach junk I got, but I’ll skip that.) I went to grad parties, watched movies, went to a museum, saw my grandparents, attended my best friend’s graduation ceremony, and spent a great amount time with my “second family”, siblings, and most of my friends. It was wonderful to be home.
As quickly as it came, it went. Now I am back in Jackson in my apartment, and my housemate is gone for several weeks in Europe, so I am mostly by myself. What a drastic difference from being in Lakeland - where I had so much to do, and friends were always around. I’m homesick. Bored. I hope I can work more hours so that I am not at this apartment all the time sitting around with nothing to do.
Why is growing up so .. difficult.. I wish I was back at my second family’s home like last summer. I wish I could see my siblings and friends.

I’m addicted to cocoa-roasted almonds. I can tell because I am going through withdrawal because I ate the rest of the ones I had as a snack for my trip back to Mississippi.
How saddening..

I’m ready for school to start again.
Then again, I am getting a heck of a lot of pleasure reading in. I’m on my 5th book this week.

I’ve never been on an Easter egg hunt, and I’ve always wanted to go on one.. I think there should be Easter egg hunts for college-aged people!!!
